With over 27 years of professional experience, he is an economist from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and a specialist in Latin American and Andean Multinational Companies from the Andean Business School. He is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Rennes in France. He has been a lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad Nacional, and a member of the Colombian Academy of Economic Sciences (ACCE).

She is a lawyer, graduated from Universidad San Buenaventura de Cali, specialized in Project Management, and is also a candidate for a Master’s degree in Law with an emphasis on Administrative Law. A former councilwoman of Bogotá, vice president of the Bogotá City Council in 2021, advisor in different public entities such as the House of Representatives, ICFES, Manager of Corporate Affairs at the national postal services 4-72.

He is a philosopher, Master of Economic Sciences from the National University of Colombia, and a doctoral student in Political Studies and International Relations. He has teaching experience in the areas of Philosophy, Political Philosophy, Ethics, Economic Theory and Thought, and Political Economy, in middle and university education cycles, as well as in Social and Community Work around political education processes, human rights, democracy, solidarity economy, and participation.

He is an Electrical Engineer from the Pontifical Bolivarian University, with a specialization in Management for Engineers from the same university with an emphasis on Marketing, and a Diploma in Finance. He has over 39 years of professional experience, with more than 33 years in the public service and five in the private sector. He has also worked around Corporate Social Responsibility as Deputy Director of Relations with Medellín and Antioquia.

She represents indigenous entrepreneurs worldwide as President of the World Network of Indigenous Business and Enterprises. She also leads the Network of Women Entrepreneurs of the Americas and the Global Network of Indigenous Entrepreneurs, Guatemala. She has supported over 3,000 people, mainly indigenous women and youth from her country, and has fostered the creation of around 800 businesses in various sectors, from textiles and agriculture to tourism.

He is a lawyer and a member of the Energy Bar Association, as well as the Pennsylvania and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is also a member of the National Press Club. He served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Energy (2001-2005). He also served as U.S. Co-Chair of the U.S.-China Energy Cooperation Working Group and led DOE’s bilateral activities and engagement with China.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Chilean Natural Gas Association (AGN), a trade organization representing the local natural gas industry. He has led AGN’s participation in the International Gas Union (IGU), the world’s largest and most influential natural gas organization, and has represented the Chilean Gas Industry at numerous international events worldwide.

He has 25 years of experience in the energy and gas sector, focusing on strategic, developmental, commercial, regulatory, and transitional issues. He has been a key figure in implementing the storage business in a liberalized market, leading business and commercial development. He has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Gas Union since 2015 and was recently elected president of the IGU for the term 2025-2028. He has also served as vice president of the IGU since 2021.

He is a social communicator and journalist from the University of Valle and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Javeriana University. In 1993, he was one of the first graduates of the renowned journalism school of El Tiempo and began his career 27 years ago as a correspondent in Cali. He has also distinguished himself by leading projects at El Tiempo such as the implementation of the first podcast platform, the digital transformation of the content area, the co-creation with Pombo of the Multimedia Journalism School, and the print redesign of the newspaper.

He is a Political Scientist from Javeriana University, with a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University in New York. He served as Deputy Opinion Editor at El Tiempo for four years and as Political Editor at Semana publications for three years. Additionally, he was the founder and director of the advisory firm Emetres Comunicaciones and served as Deputy Presidential Secretary at the Casa de Nariño.

She has been the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Cromos, Director of the public television channel Señal Colombia, Director and presenter of the 24-hour television news, and moderator of the FARC – National Government peace process until 2001.

Rodolfo Henrique de Saboia holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Sciences from the Brazilian Naval Academy (1978), a master’s degree in Command and Staff (1995), a Ph.D. in Naval Policy and Strategy (2005), both from the Naval War College and a specialization degree in International Management by Coppead-UFRJ (2005).

He has provided assistance to both national and international energy, oil, and gas companies on corporate strategy, organization, and economic analysis in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. Since joining Arthur D. Little, he has led studies to support National and International companies in taking organizational and investment decisions, as well as providing strategic assistance in refining, exploration, production, and transport, including international expansion.

He is Full Professor of Energy Economics and Principal Investigator of the Centre for Energy and Environmental Economics (CENERGIA), of the Energy Planning Programme of the Universidade Federal de Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Professor Schaeffer earned a Ph.D. in Energy Management and Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. His current research focuses on integrated assessment modeling for energy and climate mitigation.

She is an Economist from Harvard University with an MBA from Columbia Business School. She previously served as Vice President of Finance, Strategy and New Businesses of CENIT, the hydrocarbon transportation and logistics subsidiary of the Ecopetrol Group (2018 – 2023).

He is a managing director in the Project, Infrastructure and Principal Finance team within Investment Banking. He leads the firm’s origination, structuring and risk management activities for structured and project finance transactions across the climate transition, energy, infrastructure, power and quasi-sovereign sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He is graduated from the Petroleum Engineering program at Universidad de América, he holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering with a focus on mathematics from Stanford University. With over 25 years of industry experience, he has worked at Ecopetrol, BP in Colombia, and ENI in Italy, Venezuela, Ecuador, and the United Kingdom, holding managerial and leadership positions in both operations and field development.

He is a Chemical Engineer from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro UFRJ, MBA from PUC-Rio de Janeiro in Business Management, and MBA from USP – University of São Paulo in Quality Engineering. He is currently an executive in the energy, biofuels, O&G sector, and serves as Director of Sales & Business Development for Honeywell ESS regarding the Energy & Sustainability Solutions business, focusing on technologies that drive sustainability and solve critical issues facing society and their impact on the environment.

He holds an MBA in International Business from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and is certified as a Project Manager (PMP-PMI). Currently, he serves as the Manager of Institutional Relations in Colombia and acts as a representative in the country for sustainability-related matters, including the development of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). Previously, he advised both IATA and Chile as an aviation expert during the negotiations of the Paris Agreement and CORSIA.

She holds a Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering and has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration (Oil & Gas) and is currently pursuing an MBA, Sustainability and Energy Transition. She is a business and business development professional with over 25 years of experience spanning risk management and business and business development in all aspects of the energy value chain, both locally and internationally.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes, and a Master’s degree in Administration and Development Planning from the University of London (University College London). Medardo Cadena, Advisor to the Executive Secretary of OLADE, has demonstrated a significant commitment to regional energy integration. With experience in regulation, energy policy and business development, he has contributed to the transformation of the energy sector. His work at OLADE has been fundamental for the formulation of policies and regulations for post-pandemic economic reactivation.

He structured and led the Corporate Risk team at Petrobras from 2014 to 2017. During the last 5 years, he served as CFO of TBG S.A and as a board member of companies in Brazil and abroad, including Braskem and Banco do Brasil. He returned to Petrobras in 2023 as Executive Manager of Corporate Finance and Treasury of the holding company.

She is a Petroleum Engineer and studied Law and Minerals Policy and is responsible for Staatsolie’s regulatory functions and has worked in Corporate Planning, Project Management, Petroleum Contracts and Commercial areas throughout Staatsolie’s value chain over the last 20 years.

In 2000 he took over the General Management of TGN (Transportadora de Gas del Norte) and since November 2003 he has led Tecpetrol, a company that operates in the Energy sector, with activities of oil and gas exploration and production (E&P), gas transportation and distribution and power generation (G&P).

He is Professor of Mineral Deposits, Department of Mineralogy, Petrology and Applied Geology, University of Barcelona. Coordinator of the Consolidated Research Group Mineral Resources for Energy Transition (MinResET) and Professor of the Official Master’s Program on Mineral Resources at the Universities of Barcelona-Autonomous University of Barcelona, Granada, International University of Andalusia.

He has worked as a researcher, journalist, political activist and columnist for important national and international media, including: Canal Capital, Revista Semana, El Diario, El Espectador and the newspaper El País of Spain. He has also been a university professor at the Universidad Externado de Colombia and deputy director of the Fundación Paz y Reconciliación, he was elected Senator of the Republic for the period 2022 – 2026.

She is a leader and traditional authority of the Epinayú clan and spokesperson for the Wayakasira territory in the rural area of the municipality of Manaure, in La Guajira. She is a Javeriana lawyer specialized in commercial law and a Fulbright Scholar with a summa cum laude master’s degree in energy and environment from Georgetown University. She is also an active promoter of gender equality through her participation in Women in Connection (WIC) and the International Women’s Forum (IWF). Due to her business leadership, Bloomberg Línea has included her in the list of the 500 Most Influential People in Latin America since 2020, and Forbes in the list of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Colombia.

Specialist in energy policies, specialization acquired during his management as Minister of Energy of Chile during 2016-2018, characterized by important reforms that meant great advances for the sector in the country.

He is a Mechanical Engineer (ITBA – Argentina) and master’s in economics and business administration (ESEADE – Argentina), with more than thirty years of experience in the refining industry. He started his career at Shell CAPSA’s Buenos Aires Refinery (currently Raízen Argentina S.A.U.) working in different areas including Plant Shutdowns management and the Planning and Economics Department of the refinery. Purchasing and Contracting Manager and regional Internal Audit Manager (Southern Cone cluster).

He is a consultant and expert in the areas of EHS and Sustainability in the Oil and Gas Industry in Latin America for more than 24 years. Author and Co-author of more than 100 articles and scientific publications as well as Speaker and Exhibitor in a similar number of Congresses, Panels and Symposiums in these areas.

He is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of Buenos Aires, in January 2022 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Total Austral and Senior Vice President of TotalEnergies Cono Sur for the Exploration-Production (EP) and Gas, Renewables and Electricity areas. Since September 2023, he has been appointed Senior Vice President for the Americas and is a member of the Exploration and Production Management Committee and the Performance Committee of TotalEnergies.

He has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector and performed within the private and public entities, specifically in REPSOL (institutional, international, refining, strategic planning), National Energy Commission (regulation of oil & biofuels), International Energy Agency SEQ/SOM (security of supply) and CORES (security of supply for oil & gas).

He leads the Energy practice for Spanish-speaking South America (Central America, Colombia, Peru, Chile and Argentina) at Boston Consulting Group. He has successfully developed different projects in Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Technological University of Havana. Throughout his career he has served as Technical Manager at a national liquefied gas company, Director of the Operations Center, Director of the Trade and Supply Unit of the Unión Cuba Petróleo.

He is an architect from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of the Republic, which he has practiced for more than 50 years. He is a painter as a hobby and is passionate about capturing nature in his work. In 2012 he wrote his book “Desde el Silencio” with Mireya Soriano. He survived the plane crash in the Andes in 1972.

He has extensive experience in the area of Energy and Infrastructure, in the public and private sector. In his most recent career, he has served as CEO of global companies, in charge of international and regional investment projects.

Deborah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economic Development from Sonoma State University and a Master’s of Science in Administration from the University of West Florida. She is a seasoned professional with a rich background in NGOs and nonprofits across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Jason holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering and public policy from MIT and is a Harvard-trained environmental mediator, Clean 50 grantee, Leadership Calgary alumnus, and member of the World Commission on Dams. He joined Equitable Origin in September 2023 to increase the market signal for ESG leadership and innovation in the energy transition.

He has an MBA from Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Ibero-American University. He supports leading organizations towards the energy transition and acceleration of sustainability efforts and has developed several perspectives around the energy transition in Mexico and Latin America.

Carlos Garibaldi, with more than 40 years in the energy sector, is a Chemical Engineer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and has a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa. Additionally, he holds an MBA from Rice University and is a co-founder and former president of IAPG-Houston. He specializes in corporate strategy and business development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a specialist in Engineering Management Systems from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with more than 30 years of experience and a leader in strategic transformations in companies in the energy sector.

David Riaño Alarcón, Vice President of Low Emission Solutions at Ecopetrol, is a leader in the energy sector with more than 25 years of experience. His educational background includes a master’s degree in Economics and an MBA. He has held positions in private and government organizations, leading projects in electricity generation, renewable energy, energy efficiency and natural gas.

Raquel holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, a specialization in management from IMD, and an extension in Competitive Markets from Petrobras-ESPM.

With over 25 years of experience in the O&G sector, she has held various positions at the Petrobras Research Center, focusing on engineering projects and technological development in downstream, Biofuels, and Renewable Energies.

Over the past three years, she has worked in Petrobras’s Climate Change area, currently overseeing the Portfolio, Products, and Value Chain Decarbonization.

Aníbal Fernández performs functions related to citizen security, human rights and economic law. He plays a crucial role in community relations and the implementation of social responsibility programs in the areas of influence of the oil industry.

She works with peasant and indigenous communities in the eastern plains region, her work involves communication, cultural understanding and collaborative decision making with the communities.

He is an environmental engineer from Universidad de la Salle (Colombia), with a specialization in environmental management from Universidad Santo Tomás (Colombia) and a certification in Strategic Project Management from Rice University in the United States. He is an ESG (Environment, Social Performance and Governance) strategist with more than 25 years of global experience in the energy sector. He has held various positions in Shell Netherlands, Shell USA, and Shell Colombia.

He is a Civil Industrial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Master of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University. Since the end of 2022, he has served as Corporate Manager of Administration and Finance of the National Petroleum Company, ENAP Chile.

She is an External Affairs professional with more than 20 years of experience in different industries, with particular emphasis in the oil and gas sector. Her main areas of expertise include government relations, social risk mitigation and development of strategies to interact with external stakeholders.

It has been recognized by the Scientific Committee of the We Leadership Award Barcelona 2023 as a “Benchmark Directive in good practices in equality and diversity in the company.

He focuses on the evaluation of private energy projects in the southern region of Latin America. In addition, he has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, and his focus includes project management and monitoring.

It develops the management and supervision of projects related to hydrocarbon exploration and production in the region. Arpel plays an important role in collaboration and knowledge sharing among companies in the sector.

He has extensive experience in the financial industry, especially in Project Management and Infrastructure Development. His experience contributes significantly to the field of sustainable finance and development in Latin America.

He is responsible for leading and managing human capital-related strategies and operations in these three countries. He works to ensure that human resources policies and practices are effective, aligned with the company’s objectives and promote an inclusive and productive work environment.

He has expertise in Operational Excellence and covers topics such as Digital Transformation, Energy Transition and Green Hydrogen Development. He also leads the consolidation of best practices in selected topics through the health, safety and environment committee.

He is a Geological Engineer from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, with experience in geological analysis, technical-economic evaluations of hydrocarbon exploration and production projects, negotiation of hydrocarbon contracts and risk analysis of contract projects.
