Arpel, the Association of Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Companies of Latin America and the Caribbean, and Naturgas, the Colombian Natural Gas Association, are organizing the Arpel-Naturgas Week 2024, thus combining the 7th Arpel Conference with the Naturgas 2024 Congress. “Driving just energy transitions for Latin America and the Caribbean” is the motto of this important event that will take place from April 8 to 12 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
The alignment of these classic Arpel and Naturgas events in one place during the same week is unprecedented. For five days, international experts on energy issues, senior executives from the main oil and gas companies in the region, government authorities from different Latin American countries, academics and professionals from the sector will have the opportunity to discuss the global and geopolitical perspective; the regional challenges of energy transitions; sustainable management for social and operational licenses; digital transformation and the future of work, among other major topics.
Likewise, conjunctural and structural issues of the natural gas industry, international trends, public and regulatory policies will be analyzed, highlighting the role of natural gas as a key vector for the fulfillment of just energy transitions.
The Arpel-Naturgas Week 2024 will be an excellent space to establish new business relationships and strengthen existing ones.

Semana Arpel-Naturgas 2024
Arpel, la Asociación de Empresas de Petróleo, Gas y Energía Renovable de América Latina y el Caribe, y Naturgas, la Asociación Colombiana de Gas Natural, organizan la Semana Arpel-Naturgas 2024, combinando así la 7ª Conferencia Arpel con el Congreso Naturgas 2024.
“Impulsando transiciones energéticas justas para América Latina y el Caribe” es el lema de este importante evento que tendrá lugar del 8 al 12 de abril en Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
La presencia de Arpel y Naturgas en un sólo lugar durante la misma semana es un hecho sin precedentes. Durante cinco días expertos internacionales en temas energéticos, altos ejecutivos de las principales empresas de petróleo y gas de la región, autoridades gubernamentales de distintos países de América Latina, académicos y profesionales del sector tendrán la oportunidad de dialogar sobre la perspectiva global y geopolítica; los desafíos regionales de las transiciones energéticas; la gestión sostenible para las licencia social y operacional; la transformación digital y el futuro del trabajo, entre otros grandes temas.
Asimismo, se analizarán temas coyunturales y estructurales de la industria del gas natural, tendencias internacionales, políticas públicas y regulatorias, resaltando el papel del gas natural como vector clave para el cumplimiento de transiciones energéticas justas.
